Description
Membership starts from the date of your Introductory Flight. Purchasing an Introductory Flight also entitles you to a Month’s Membership of the Club, during which you can use all the facilities of the Club, have Instruction, launches, and Flying of club gliders at the normal club member rates.
If you have a group of 5 or 6 people all wanting to fly on the same day, it may be possible to book a dedicated day to do that. Please phone the office on 01903 742137 to discuss.
Your voucher will be posted by Royal Mail to the name and address provided by you during the check-out process. Please allow 7 days for delivery.
Once you have purchased your voucher, you may schedule your introductory flight via our website.

- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date.
- Gliding is weather-dependent. Every flight depends on suitable conditions on the day.

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
Gliding is a weather-dependent activity, and all flights are subject to suitable conditions on the day. Please make sure you are happy with the following before you buy.
If we cancel your flight
Because our flying depends on the weather, it may be necessary to reschedule more than once. Refunds are not issued for weather or operational cancellations, and your voucher stays valid until its expiry date.
If you need to change your date
Please tell us as early as you can, by phone or email, so the slot can be offered to someone else. There is no charge to move your booking to another day within the voucher’s validity period.
Expiry
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We are not able to extend or reinstate a voucher once it has expired, so please book in good time.
Refunds
Introductory flight vouchers are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for unused or unwanted vouchers, except in exceptional circumstances. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Passing your voucher on
If you no longer wish to use your voucher, you are welcome to pass it to a friend or family member. Please contact the office (01903 742137) first with the new recipient’s name so we can update our records.
